The Reading Fire Department has a force of 36 Firefighters, 5
Lieutenants, 4 Captains, whom are commanded by Chief
Greg Burns. 2 engines, 1 ladder, and 1 BLS rescue/ambulance respond from 2
fire stations and average over 4,000 runs annually. Mutual aid availablilty
is 1 engine.
