The Quincy Fire Department has a force of approximately 205
members whom are commanded by Chief Of Department Joseph P. Barron. The Senior Staff Officer is Deputy Chief Edward Fenby. 8 engines, 3 ladders, and
1 heavy rescue respond from 8 fire stations and average over 10,000 runs
annually. Quincy also quarters a 2nd heavy rescue that carries special
rescue equipment, should there be an emergency at one of the Massachusetts
Water Resources Authority's sites. Mutual aid availablilty is 2 engines and
1 ladder.
