The Lexington Fire Department has a force of 40 Firefighters, 8 Lieutenants, 4 Captains, and 1 Assistant whom are commanded by Chief William Middlemiss. 2 engines, 1 ladder, and 1 BLS rescue/ambulance respond from 2 fire stations and average over 3,400 runs annually. Mutual aid availablilty is 1 engine.
